Girls like Rabina are marginalised, isolated, and locked out of education.
Help stop this injustice. Things CAN change.
Girls living with disabilities in poor communities in Nepal face signficant challenges and risks - poverty, discrimination, isolation. Denied choice, a voice and an education. It is not right, or fair.
VSO is empowering girls back into education. They receive tailored and varied support that means their range of needs - as do their families and teachers.
There are thousands of girls like Rabina who we urgently need to reach. Will you give the gift of education and a brighter future to a girl like Rabina today?

Girls have the right to learn. Help a vulnerable girl who is missing out on an education
Every day, Rabina could see children from her village heading off to school, but she had to stay home. Born with cerebral palsy, Rabina couldn’t walk with the other children, and she didn’t have a wheelchair. For many girls like Rabina, they have never even been to school. They are completely shut out due to their additional needs, the lack of disability-friendly schools, and the financial struggles of their families to support them. They are deeply isolated and lonely.
Don't you believe that every girl living with a disability deserves an education?
Thanks to VSO supporters, Rabina was provided with a wheelchair, bridge classes to catch up, school supplies, and a VSO big sister volunteer. She is now in mainstream school. She shares how "I believe that most of the persons with disability are still deprived of their fundamental rights, therefore, they should be acquainted with [VSO projects] that can be life-changing for them."
Please will you give an urgent gift today to help more girls like Rabina get the life-changing support and education they need for a brighter future.
