Families have lost loved ones, homes, belongings, and livelihoods. Roads and bridges are gone, cutting communities off from the services they desperately need.
What we're doing
Local VSO volunteers need urgent support to reach girls, women, and families devastated by the floods.
VSO doesn't fly people in. Our volunteers live in the worst affected communities. And they were helping their neighbours before the water receded.
They're identifying who needs help most: children, women, families, who've lost everything. They know what's needed - clean water, hygiene supplies, essential household items and shelter. And how to get it to people others can't reach. But they can't do it without your help.
The emergency won't end when the floodwaters recede.
