It is never to late to learn.
Extreme poverty forced Consolata into early marriage and motherhood before age 15. Though just 18, Consolata has already been married, pregnant and widowed.
Millions of girls like Consolata living in extreme poverty face discrimination, exploitation and violence. Things CAN change. Completing her education is the first step towards a better future for her and her daughter. Here she is, together with her VSO trained teacher, Christine, and her mentor, Maliki Gati Chacha.
