Role overview
The OD Adviser’s primary responsibilities include working with senior management and relevant staff in the Community based organizations (CSO's) to develop and implement the relevant organizations Plans. These plans will be developed through a participatory analysis and prioritization process, involving a cross section of staff from all levels and functions of the organization, and will define the strategic direction of the organisation.
Activities will include a review and/ or revision or development of the below;
o Strategic Direction and Planning
o Organizational governance systems
o Organizational mission and vision
o Finance systems, including financial reporting to donors
o HR policies and procedures
o IT and knowledge management systems
o Sustainability planning
o Partnering strategies
o Proposal writing and official communications
The role will also include training of relevant staff in the procedures developed, including the capacity building of individuals and teams.
Skills, qualifications and experience
5 Years’ experience in organisational Behaviour analysis, development & management including financial management.
Be familiar with Organisational Development tools and approaches.
Be able to adapt to difficult and changing circumstances, be able to manage uncertainty, and be an excellent team member.
