Advocacy, policy, M&E and research roles

Use your skills to gather evidence and change policy for the benefit of others.

Make change happen

Volunteers with advocacy, policy and research skills are vital in helping us make systemic changes that improve the lives of thousands, if not millions of people.

Your placement might involve training staff in campaigning techniques or working with organisations to develop advocacy strategies, or campaign on behalf of their local communities.

As a monitoring and evaluation specialist you could be working with public sector or state bodies to review current M&E practices and make recommendations for improvement or review and report on the success of specific projects or programmes.

We recruit the following specialisms:

  • Advocacy specialists, particularly working on gender, human rights and youth issues
  • Campaigners
  • Policy analysts
  • Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) specialists
