Selection criteria
Volunteer jobs are for skilled and experienced professionals from a range of backgrounds, but mainly for education, health and business professionals. These placements are open to volunteers aged between 25 and 75 years.
Standard placements last from one to two years, with the majority of placements lasting for two years. VSO also offers short-term placements that are generally aimed at highly experienced professionals who can provide advice at senior level.
