Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messaging
VSO Ireland is a signatory of the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messaging. This means VSO is committed to a set of principles, ensuring that we avoid stereotypical or sensational images in all of our communications activity. The adoption of the Code means that VSO chooses images and messages that represent the full complexity of the situations in which we work in the developing world, and we seek the permission of the people portrayed in the photos and stories we use.
